I had a dean markley 100b and it was only 50 watts. I did pretty decent it even put out some bass...didnt shake the floors, but it sounded decent. Worked great till I started playing with drums, and then I fried the power amp section by trying to turn it up too loud. I was a great as a bedroom practice amp, has a variable mid knob too, the amp had great tone...

  3. Check out one of the new Fender Bassman 60s. It's
got a 60s type sound, weighs 50lbs., and it's an excellent practice amp, and can hold it's own for low volume gigs. Crazy drummer and half stack Marshall... Nope! Within reason it's a very good amp.

    Try one!
