Replace both J p'ups or just bad one?

I have a Geddy J bass with a bad bridge pickup. I've decided on the SD Antiquity or Antiquity II. Should I replace both p'ups at the same time? There's probably differences between the sensitivity and output between the stock and the replacement.

    Thanks.

I would do both, unless you buy a replacement to match the original. J pups are designed to work as a set, and interact with each other.

That makes sense. That's what I will do.
    Thanks!

  5. I would just replace the one, unless you don't like the tone of the other pickup.

The sound of the neck pickup is good. My concern is that there might be an output difference that would cause a problem with the hum canceling effect with both at same volume.
