Well I've somehow managed to blow one of my 10" drivers in my SWR Goliath. Not sure how but here we are....

    Would you recommend replacing it ( $180 & a 3 week wait ) or re-coning it ( $100 & a 2 week wait ).

Has anybody had any experiance with re-coned speakers??

Any suggestions on where to buy replacement speakers?? I've called the service centres of the SWR site.

    Thanks guys

If they are going to use an original cone kit it is like a new speaker after recone. Save the $80.00. :)

yep, reconing is great if it's cost effective, and it apparently is.

+1 if done properly, it's every bit as good as new.
