I need a new bridge for my Ibanez SR885 (5 string). Who makes the best bridge on the market?

    thanks,

    Ransomm

Best is a very subjective term.

Gotoh, Hipshot, Leo Quan and ABM all make popular bridges, and the price can range from $30 to $250+. How much do you want to spend?

Whatever it takes... how would the ones listed rate in order?

    thanks,

What are the advantages of each brand? If you had your choice... which would you use... and why?

    thanks,

Ive got a big meaty Gotoh that Im going to put on my hammer when/if i ever get done restoring it.

I like it because its top/load or thru the body, and is adjustable from left to right, so i can set my string spacing. I also like it because its really big and heavy, lots of meat to it.

If price were not the issue, which would you choose?

    ABM. Great bridges.
