I've been using my talman for several months and have problems with my saddle screws backing out and rattling. Can anyone suggest a replacement bridge/ saddles. I would prefer not to drill new holes but can if i need to.

Unfortunately the bridge doesn't use normal barrel saddles so ill probably have to replace the entire bridge. I seen some use a kickass on the same bass but it seems like overkill.

Just use loc-tite on the screws that are loosening.

  3. Yep. Blue Loctite or a drop of Superglue. Get the string heights set, unscrew one screw, apply the Loctite or superglue, reinstall the screw being careful to not change the saddle height and keep the saddle parallel to the bridge plate. It doesn’t hurt to work the screw back and forth a time or two until you feel it start to “grab”. Do the same with the other screws.

If you’re looking for an excuse to get a new bridge, well, dang that bridge that won’t stay adjusted. I guess you need a new one!:D

    The Great PNW!!
^^This^^!! If you want those screws to EVER come out again, DO. NOT. USE. RED. LOCTITE!!

  6. The red Loctite will let go it just requires heat or chemicals or judicious use of power tools.:smug:
