first of all, I know just over squat about pups. I've been playing my good ole 1976 eb3 since, well, 1976. Lately I noticed that I wasn't getting the sound I used to, took it to the local shop and they told me the bridge pu was "going", had low output.

I've seen some standard replacements for both the neck and bridge pups, but I was wondering what other options besides dropping in what I've already got.

Dimarzio Model One, neck pu. In and out phase option. I have one in my EB3 and prefer it over the stock pu which was way too boomy. If I were you, I would pull the original pu that needs repair and send it to Seymour Duncan for a rewind. Contact them for prices. The other option is keep watching Ebay for an original replacement. I am not aware of an aftermarket bridge pu.
