Replacement Neck

    I have a epi thunderbird, and i want to put a new neck on it to make it better for slapping. I was told by a friend to check out fender jazz necks. If this is a good idea, where can a get a neck? also if you have any other ideas im open, and price is a matter

    I doubt a Jazz neck will slap right on w/o mods, and doubt further that it would make any significant difference in slapability. If you do this, please post pics and tell us how it worked out

    I find the wider neck of a Prebass more comfortable for slapping.
