Does anyone know of a company that makes a different pickgaurd for the Marcus Miller Fender Jazz bass?

    Thank you.

  2. I believe Jeannie's Pickguards will custom-cut them for you. I wish I had their info for you, though. Try a Google search, though I'm sure there's a TB'er who'll come through with their info or another source.

Out of curiosity, what color MM body do you have and what color pickguard are you thinking of putting on it?

Its a natural. So I was thinking of white pearloid to match the blaock inlays of the fretboard.

Let us know how you make out with the pick guard. You've got me curious.

Both Chandler and Jeannie's can do this for you. You might even find some of their other more exotic looking pick guards interesting. I understand that the best way to do this is for you to send your current pickguard to them; they will use it as a template to make an exact duplicate that will fit your bass perfectly. I've bought off-brand pickguards in the past only to find that they don't quite match up with a particular bass (usually at the neck joint). Then you have to go at it with a file to make it fit. you don't want to go there, trust me.

I've been admiring the black abalone pickguard. http://home.comcast.net/~pickguards/abaloe.jpg

I thought doing it sometimes...but didn't yet, perhaps later!!
White "old" perloid would kill all...

Ive seen it but the control cavity cover was a control plate of the same size of the original cover, it looked cool but too shiny for me.
