Replacement/upgrade pups in EMG35 size?

    I'm looking into replacement pups for a bass I'm interested in. The pup size is 3.5" x 1.5"- the EMG35 size. I'm looking for something better than EMG-HZ or Mighty Mite, but not as expensive as Barts or real EMGs. Is there any middle ground?
