86-510-04 is the Ampeg part number for the current SVT 410hlf speakers, but they may be a bit hard to get at the moment. You could get yours reconed as well, but if you have to ship them, it could cost more to get them reconed than replaced.

If you blew all four drivers in the HLF you obviously need more speaker cabinets to get as loud as you need or this will just happen again. 1200 watts is a lot of power!

    1) That cab gets stupid loud from the factory. If you blew it, you need more cab.... and less volume.

    2) But, if you insist on trying to keeping forward with a 1,000+ watt amp into one cab, do the following. Measure the interior dimensions of your cab. Then measure the ports. Then call US Speaker. They will run the dimensions through their software amd give you several options. In your case, I would ask then what the sturdiest one is. :D

thanks twofingers. i’ve had the cab for years and never had a problem. bridging both the power amps did it. the cabs power handling is 600 watts. i’m pretty pissed at myself to tell you the truth. thanks for the input

That would do it alright. With Bridging comes great responsibility! I have never felt the need to bridge any of my amplifiers. It releases way too much power. In bridge the only connector type that should be used is the SpeakOn. Phone 1/4" connectors simply can't handle the power.

Sadly, you learned the expensive lesson that more speakers makes more boom and volume not more power. :(

When you get this settled if you still need move volume add a second HLF cab and that will get you there. :woot:
