I played our first REALLY loud show last night, with my Crate BX-160, it has a 15 inch speaker, but it was distorting the whole time we were playing. So, i want to know if i should get a separate cab, like a 2x10, and use it with the speaker, or only use it, OR, if i should replace the 15 in my amp?

    Thanks for your help!

It has nothing to do with your speaker, it sounds like your amp was clipping to me. Get a bigger amp. 160 watts is not nearly enough. I'd go with 400 or more.
