I was wondering what I should watch out for whilst replacing the neck on my NS2000Q5.

I dun #$% it up so Spector the great company that they are have sent me a replacment.

Is it a matter of just taking the old one off and "slapin'" the new one on, adjusting relief, action then intonate? or do I have to make a prayer the the bass gods??

I appreciate any info and guidance you can give.

If the factory meets high standards regarding the neck pocket and bolt alignment.. then it should be very easy.
If the holes do not match, I recommend fillling them with wood eh.. damn.. dont remember the work of those wood sticks to fill the holes.. but anyway you get the point. Use that and glue..
and then redrill accordingly to your bass, and that should be it.
I believe the angle and everything else should be fine.
