    Hi Guys

    I'm looking to replace my SAD Soapbars with a pair of RJ Neos from James Reed custom pickups and was wondering if anyone knew the equivalent in the wiring of the two.

    Sadowsky Soapbars has three wires
    White = Hot
    Black + Shield = Ground

    -------------------------------------
    RJ Neos has 5 wires
    Black = North Start (hot output)
    White = North finish (series link)
    Red = South finish (series link)
    Green = South Start (Ground)
    Shield

    Note: the White on the SAD Soapbars is going to the pickup select knob

    Trying to do the replacement to save a couple dollars.

    Any assistance is appreciated.

    Thanks!
    Rich

    Just going on what you said, I would think:

    Black = output
    Green & shield = ground
    White & Red soldered together.

    Try it, anyway. Can't hurt!
