Has anyone ever replaced the endpin unit on a Stagg EUB? Is this something a fairly competent person can do? Or should it be left to someone who knows what they are doing? While my Stagg EUB was still under warranty, the set-screw in the endpin housing unit stripped. They sent me a replacement endpin unit (minus the actual endpin) but no instructions. I took a look at the endpin unit and its installed really well. Is there a special trick to removing the old unit without damaging the body? Or is that trick called "take it to a professional?"
