Replacing volume knob on a streamer jazzman

Discussion in 'Warwick Basses' started by Arjankoster, Jul 30, 2012.

  1. Hey guys,

I was about to buy a Warwick Streamer Jazzman when the seller told me that the volume knob was busted (you can turn it around endlessly now). So I went to the Warwick site and did a little research. according to the wiring diagram (link: http://www.warwick.de/media/manuals/Electronics/60055 rev2.pdf)

It should be this pot: http://shop.warwick.de/?&c=35352310...8&article_category=D0120522001321517425A44028

Am I right so far? Would this really cost me about 75 euros since it's the stacked knob?

btw it is the warwick with just one stacked knob.

    Help is much appreciated!

The diagram states the part number is M 89552 which is this one: http://shop.warwick.de/?&c=35352310...001321517424A43802|D0120522001321517425A44028

You're link was to part number M 88552.

Where are you located? Are you sure the pot is broken? or is the knob set screw stripped on the shaft? If the knob can be removed and you can check, I would recommend doing that first. If indeed the pot shaft is broken, use the request form first to be sure you have the correct part http://warwick.de/modules/support/request.php?katID=14549&cl=EN

I hope this helps. Please let me know if I can assist you in any way. Thanks!
