I want an EXACT repro of a 1968 Fender Dual Showman speaker cab, the small version.
    Who makes cabs ??

You could try contacting Gregg Hopkins at Vintage Amp Restoration. He is usually associated with Ampeg amps but I think I've seen him do Fender repros. I don't know for sure that he can do what you're looking for but it might be worth checking.

  4. You probably don't really want exact, if it was originally made with particle board, as many Fenders were. Just a thought...

As I recall Fenders of that period had solid 3/4" Poplar sides with finger-jointed corners, 1/2" plywood baffles and 1/2" MDF backs. The materials used was the least of their shortcomings.

every vintage fender cab that i've seen has fingerjointed pine sides, a plywood baffle with a particleboard back.

  7. Looking at mine now.
Hmm. Looks like particle board to me. Maybe 80's isn't vintage enough. That is why I'm duplicating it...in plywood, with bracing, as this one has none. My old 1973 Bassman 2X15 did have plywood, as I remember. But this Bassman cabinet is definately not finger jointed, and even the Baffle is particle. Fender USA.

    80's is definitely not vintage.

It won't be an exact repro...cause they use a modern, ported cab with a horn...
Avatar has their cabs available with Fender looking grills.
