i'm tossing around the idea of doing a warmoth project bass, and i want to do whatever i can to save some $$$ since my budget might be pretty slim. and besides, nitro finishes are way cool. has anyone ever used reranch lacquer? how did it turn out? is it easy to use? i've never finishing anything before in my life....

    Reranch stuff is great.

I have a Tele done in their spray nitro...Ice blue metallic, and their clear coat as well...that's been aged as a 1964 relic...came out pretty close to identical to original Fender finishes.

I had it done professionally, but all products used were ReRanch.

wow that one looks like it came out really nice...

has anyone actually done it themselves, or would it be worth my while to take it to a furniture refinisher or something (if they would even do this sort of thing)?
