resin fingerboard.

    I tryed an Aquilina bass (wich was great as I said on this forum earlier) and I just see that he makes resin fingerboards on his bass..

    is it really differents from wood??

    I've never played a resin fretboard, but my guess is that it would sound and feel similar to the Diamondwood that Roscoe uses for fretboards, or the Rockwood that Curbow uses for necks. Those are not solid resin, but resin impregnated into wood laminates under pressure.

    Yes, they do feel different from wood. They're harder, smoother, more consistent--perfect for fretless, really.
