Okay, I was just kind of wondering if there are resonator basses? I love the way the guitar sounds and just was like "hey, I wonder". If there are, do they have the same sound? I know, it's odd, but that's me!

Yep. Do a web search for "Folk of the Woods" - they sell them.

  5. In the new Garth Brooks video (and Dr. Pepper ad) the bass player is playing a Fender resonator bass. Its cool because it literally has 'f' holes.
