Responses to "Stupid Question"

Take it from me. I'm a teacher. There are stupid people. AND there are stupid questions. End of thread.

+1 to Maki. My mom is a teacher and my dad did a lot of part time teaching (adult education, CS, and IT) during the 90's and there are plenty of stupid people and plenty of stupid questions.

There are no stupid questions but there are plenty of stupid threads on TB!

I teach too. And on a really, really good day the stupid people will only ask one stupid question.

I would never say to my 7th graders (12 y/o) "There is not such thing as a stupid question"..... they will try their damnest to prove me wrong.

your a teacher?? wow....i had a teacher in grade 11 that called me an idiot everyday, all the other teachers think it....they just dont say it =)

awesome...i just did an english exam....3 hours....it was Publics...don't know if you have those in the states but it determines weather or not i do anything with my life lol.

 

Nothing "for the children" is for the children.

 

The only times i've used the phrase "There are no stupid questions" is when I am surrounded by stupid people and trying to make them feel better about it.
