I've been playing for a little over 5 months with addictive progress. I've been praticing with three fingers and i thought i had gotten good at it as i always play with three now and can play the very quick such as parallel universe and can play the first two mins or so of anesthesia. Then i hear of the rest stroke which i am definitely not using so i've decided to learn it. Personally i find it tough going and it seems to be rather slow and tiring to the fingers. I was wondering if any speed can be built up with this technique and if it's really worth learning. Is the tone really much better and i was wondering if anyone could give me some tips on how to learn this well.
    Thanks a lot
