    Hey guys!

I need some advice. I was planning to restyle my cheap cort action that I seldom use. I wanted to give it a more "classic" look to it since I don't really like how it looks right now (too metal-ish). By "classic" look I mean something that resembles basses like fender Ps and Js or MM Stingrays.

    Here it is:

Any advice on what I could change on it? Ideas could be: paint, knobs, pickguard, anything really.

The easier option would probably to trade it for a cheap P or J copy.

I had taken that into consideration but I'm just afraid of getting a bass that has nice looks but poor playability. Point is that I really like how it plays even if it is a cheap bass.

  4. I'd pick up a sheet of pearloid pickguard material from guitarfetish and go for a Pedulla Rapture-type look

    yRDii.

less than 20 bucks and it'll look killer
