Hi guys, I haven't posted here in a really long time but in my search for some new amplification I came across this and I haven't been able to find any information on it. Just wondering if anybody here knows anything about it? The details that came on the advertisement were:
    Made by Gibson
    All valve amp

EDIT: Please note my signature was written when I was 14/15 and is in retrospect, regretable. *rolls eyes*
  2. Sorry to be a pain but I really can't find any information, I'm very sorry.

Funkengrooven Turn it down? You gotta be nuts!!

Gibson bought Standel and manufactured amps under the SG name in the old Standel factory for a couple of years before throwing in the towel.
They generally are heavy and made of particle board but usually fairly durable, I have a 2x12 PA cabinet that is still going.
An SG Valve amp is a redesigned Standel. The circutry is very standard, any amp tech worth his salt should be able to fix it unless the insides are burned up beyond recognition. A vacuum tube signal path of that vintage is fairly straight forward.

I read up on SG a couple of months ago and I'll try to remember the site...there was not much...If you get stuck email me off list and we can work on it.

Actually I like your signature, and I like my girlfriend's Big Breasts ...but I prefer a 4 string bass.... :D
