well, i bought it, i sold it , and i got it back.. seems to be the theme with me these days. First, i got an old Fender Am Dlx 5 back last week, I love it.. doctored it up and it kicks butt. Now, i "borrowed" a Sadowsky Tokyo I had and sold to a good friend here in Vegas - he is now a full time Lakland guy and I was always enamored with the look of this Sadowsky ( the pickguard was my idea and the bass is just so fine looking, to me ) i have to admit, it wasn't too comfy when i brought it home, but I sat with the allen wrench and the screwdriver and lowered the bridge saddles, and raised the pickups, new strings , and now this thing is monstrous. The singlecoils and the full size body really gives this bass the closest I have come to " the Marcus sound " it is big and not as easy to get around as the smaller Fender of my F bass, but that's part of the beauty... it keeps me real.. shut up and groove! anyways.. i am on a Jazz kick these days, and loving it.. now I have to sell something to pay for this thing, but my buddy is giving me "terms"- How can i refuse?? hey, Mike.. you proud of me yet ?? ps- i thank the Lord for allowing this ... and for life.
