    Bass looks and plays great.

Bridge and jack plate look and sit wonderfully on the body.

Cool! Did you have DP repair it, or did you take it to someone else to get it fixed?

The top was arched, but the bridge didn't sit on it at all.

So ???? How does it sound ? How does it play ? How does it feel ?

I have a vested interest in knowing these things ;)

Sounds good... Plays very well seated and standing. Has a weird neck profile... Not bad, just different...

Very good value for the money.

Would have like to have seen a more durable and protective gig bag provided, but it was well packed and arrived without incident.

Also the control cavity could have been cleaner. Additionally, I think Dave could probably cut the control cavity a little larger without too much impact on the instrument's sound. Everything's just too cramped IMO... But once again, it really doesnt impact playability or tone.

As I said above, if it had arrived in this condition initially I would have had no complaints at all.

Might drop a good pre in it at a later time.. The only controls I have are two volume and one tone that came with the pickups (this was at my request)

    Bottom Line

*Good value in a totally custom made instrument.
    *GREAT feel and balance
    *Good playability
    *Usable tone

    Sound clips coming

Wow! That sounds really good! I like the soundclips a lot. I really like the tone. It sounds like a great bass. Glad it worked out, and it sounds, and looks, like you have a great bass.

    Thanks Nick,

These were recorded going straight into my soundcard, with both pups at full volume and tone control at 100%.

    Got some pics coming.
