I purchased a Reverend Stage King guitar (their import series from Korea) and in the process of corresponding with them asked about basses.

My email contact at Reverend said that Joe Naylor had the design in his head and that we could be seeing a Reverend Stage King bass by the end of 2006.

This would be very cool. I don't have my guitar yet, but I have seen them and the build quality is excellent. So we could be looking at a Reverend bass, wood body, Reverend pickups, the great necks, set up in the U.S. for what? Under $600 probably?

God, I hope so - I TOTALLY missed the boat on the original Rev's......

  3. Wood body? Might be a nice bass, but....

The 'fish gets its remarkable sound from its hollow composite body.

Is'nt that the main reason to play a Fish, the sound?

  4. Eh. I'm skeptical. I love my American Rumblefish.

Me too. I wouldn't be surprised if he does it, I might even check one out(they're about ten minutes down the road), but it won't be the same.
