Alright... I think I may settle with the Rumblefish, but I'd like the better of the two 4 string versions (XL and regular) the XL has the switch to change the 3 position voicing switch (to change between series, parallel, and single coil.)

So I'd rather get the XL than the regular 4 string... only problem is I have no idea where to find one. Nobody around me carries Reverend and musiciansfriend, and samash don't have the XL (musicians friend has the regular, but not XL)

Does anyone know of any online sources that might have it? Thanks.

hmmm... they have the rumblefish standard, but they don't list the XL... thanks anyway.

  4. BassNW has had Rumblefish XLs before.. you should give them a call, I'm sure they could get one for you. Your profile doesn't say what state you live in, but if you check Reverend's Web site (http://www.reverendmusical.com) they have a list of dealers.. there might be one within a reasonable drive of where you live.

  5. you can order direct from reverend if there are no dealers within x miles from you. check the site.

actually, bass northwest carries them, I e-mailed them and they replied saying they can get them, and actually carry one. Thanks for everyone who helped though!

The had one last time when you looked. Its a 5 string, but its the same idea. You wont notice (cosmetically) the difference between the standard and XL.

    Nope, you're getting confused. http://www.reverendmusical.com/models/rumblefish.htm

That's the 4 string models (the 4 string standard an XL)

    http://www.reverendmusical.com/models/rumblefish5l.htm

That's the 5. The 5 only comes in that model.

I want the 4 string XL. They have the one I want too. They just don't have it listed on their site. $650 with my pick of the fretboard.
