reversing the precision pickup like Rocco Prestia

    what exactly is the difference in sound when you turn the p pickup upside down?

    Tighter bottom and a less ahrsh high end. I fint the mids to be more present,the low end a little less boomy, and the highs to be smoother. I've never done a comparison of the different pickups in one bass though. I hope some people with universal p routs in their basses will chime in.
     
  3. yeah as ArwinH said i did that on my 2nd bass a tanglewood MM copy i got a P and put it in upside down (in standard position) but i slanted it towards the neck at the bass end and the hughs seem really smooth but still bright and loads of thumpy bass
