Just like Roger says. Tighter B, and a more Jazz like pop on the top end. Interestingly enough, it doesn't seen to effect the sound of the P pickup when solo'ed. It still has a very legit P bass sound.

Definately worth the price of a new pickguard.

I had ZERO problem with the way it sounded before but this puppy flat out rips now.

If you own a PJ5 give it a try.

    cant wait...
  3. If you had to choose between regular or reversed(permanently), which one would it be?

(i.e You have to choose a routing for only one setting not the universal rout for both.)

This bass will NEVER go back to the standard config. as long as I own it.

After all thease years this is my first encounter with a reversed P pickup. The difference, while not overwehelming, isn't something you have to listen for either. It is to my ear, a very aparent improvement in all aspects.

If I where king of the world I would make it the default configuration for all P pickups.
