My band, Parallex, released a CD back in April entitled "Now That You're Here". We are a combination of hard rock and pop ballad rock from Ames, Iowa. We have a few mp3s posted and I'm looking for some unbiased feedback(both from a bassist/tone standpoint and as the overall band). Let me know what you think!

  5. I liked "Leave" and "731". "Anthem" didn't really do it for me though. Guitar solos were strong throughout and the bass was well blended. Not too flashy, but yet well-fitting. Good work. Oh, and you've GOT to get some vocal harmony on "731". I could hear it in my head and I think it would sound awesome with a harmony part on the chorus and in a few parts of the verse.

We intended to add some harmony on there, but due to time/budget constraints, there were quite a few things we couldn't do on the album. We're about to audition a girl to do backing vocals and occasional lead vocals soon though.
