I just finished watching the two new Bill "the Buddha" Dickens videos (Funk Bass and Beyond and Bass Beyond Limits). Overall, the Funk Bass video is pretty good; mostly instruction on slap techniques (although he moves waaaay too quickly; similar to his two older jazz instructional videos) and a couple performances thrown in. The Bass Beyond Limits video, though, is pretty much comprised of left-over material from the first video, so there's a minimal amount of instruction; it's mostly performance.

Now, if you enjoy seeing Dickens play, then both of these videos are a must, because he really throws down in both of them. He plays some of the fastest slap you will ever see in them. The Funk Bass video is probably better than either of the two older vids, but the Bass Beyond Limits kind of looses the whole "instructional video" idea to it. Oh yeah, you also get to see him play his 9-string for all of two minutes, and he only uses the four highest strings.
