Review of this Yamaha 5 string

I've had this bass for nearly 3 years and love it. It has a really good response, but you'll have to work on the action a little. $400.00 used though may be a bit steep. You can get them brand new for about $150.00 more. I'd definitely check it out before buying it. Make sure the neck there's no nicks and also make sure that the neck is not warped. A bass can be considered in great condition until you pick it up.
