Review: Visual Sound Jekyll and Hyde

    This is a guitar pedal.
    There are very few bass specific drive pedals out there. Many of them still exhibit low end loss when engaged. A notable exception is the Frantone Lo-Tone which is a fuzz. It boosts the lows starting @ 150 (those boomy freqs). The trade off is it can get muddy unless you back off on the bass knob on your axe or amp.

    Some folks also like the Fulltone Bass Drive.

    tpylons, any thoughts on the Jekyll and Hyde close to three years later? Do you still use it or have you moved on?

    It's neither here nor there. I was lent the pedal by a dealer strictly for a period to review. I posted my comments and unfortunately haven't had the money to purchase my own J&H.
