Well, my P bass has been in need of some rewiring for a while. I have been using EMG pickups, and have been using a 250K volume pot for a while along with a 25K tone pot. It was VERY bright and clear. If you want a clear, almost jangly tone, this is the way to go. Today, after relocating the battery, I put in the standard 25K controls that EMG reccomends. Now it's back to that standard P tone, which is great as well. I thought you all might like to know about the different sounds you can get by changing the configurations of your electronics. Changing capacitor values is also a good way to do this, as well.
