    Hi, Everybody:

Just wondering: Is it possible to rewire my Aguilar GS212, to change it from 4 to 8 ohms? (I'm thinking, maybe, switch the speakers from series to parallel, or vice versa...)

    Thanks,

    ~John

4 ohms or 16 ohms is all you can do with the speakers it has inside currently. You could always order 2 more 8 ohms speakers from the AGUILAR site, but that would cost almost as much as a new cab . . . .

    4 or 16, exactly.

Eric, did you mean that second remark that way? I don't get it. Or did you mean order 2 16 ohm speakers for a total
    parallel impedance of 8 ohms?

I meant two "4" ohm speakers. Wasn't being careful in what I typed. Thanks for catching it.

BW, Aguilar doesn't offer speakers in 16 ohms off its site, just 4 and 8. Two 4 ohmers will get him the 8 ohms he seeks.
