RH450 and Helix LT

Hey Guys,

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this, but I know many people here have or have had an RH450, and also have Helix products, so hopefully one of you can help.

I have an RH450, a Helix LT and Yamaha HS5 speakers.

What I want to do is connect the RH450 to the LT via a loop, so that I can have two paths on the LT, one using an amp and cab sim, and one using the RH450, to compare tones and match them.

I have the RH450 set up with the send from the LT in to the input of the RH450, then from the DI out back to the return of the LT.

The reason for this set up is that the fx loop on the RH450 is specifically described as a breakpoint between the preamp and poweramp, and so would bypass both of those.

The problem I have is without adding volume/gain/whatever the sound of the RH450 is too low.

Any suggestions?
