    What an exercise in patience.

Ok, ok, I will be changing to black tuners but after my wedding!

I love the East Preamp but it looks "knobby" from some angels like the one below. All in all a dream bass. :hyper:

    how does it sound?
  7. Looks great. Simply great.

  8. damn that screams good taste....treat her well.
  9. Beautiful bass! Trust me, no one outside of this forum will ever notice the supposed "knobbiness" of the bass outside perhaps fans at your feet looking up at you. :smug:

I can't quite see, but I don't notice any string retainers on the headstock. Enough down-pressure to hold the strings in the nut, or is it covered by the black "good for tapping" hair tie?

I had an ex-fiancee named Rhonda. We got in a big fight and she took off and badmouthed me to everyone we knew while pretending she may have made a mistake. It turned out to be a ploy to get money from me. I finally had enough of her and told her to go away. Next thing I hear she's hooked on coke and stripping to afford to pay for it. Then she got pregnant and moved to Kentucky. I never heard from her again, but even after 20 years I get so angry when I think about it that I can never like your bass. Sorry.

J/K! That turned out very nice. Hope you enjoy playing that filthy dirty pig...er...that beautiful bass.

Beautiful work my man. I told you to follow your heart on the electronics and it looks like it paid off. Im interested to know how the duncans sound with the J-retro.
