Ric bridge pickup horseshoe - functional?

    The horseshoe pickups of the 60's were magnetic,but the reissue pickups are not. (the top part,that is.) so,they are mostly just for show. They are still great sounding pickups,but quite a bit different sounding from the old ones.

    That's what I was thinking.

    It looks like Lollar has the only real/magnetic/functional horseshoe on the market.

    Interesting...
