Rick on Auction

    Here is a Rick bass on auction for pretty cheap. SOmebody jump on this before I do.

  5. Why does the auction say Rickenbocker?? hopefully it doenst say that on the headstock

    Ask the seller some closer shots of the bass.

    What seems strange to me is :

    1/ The price, very low
    2/ The "general feeling" that makes me doubt if it is a real Rickenbacker (it is just a general impression, but of course I may be wrong)
    3/ The model (4001 or 4003) is not specified by the owner

    Also, don't forget that all Rickenbacker copies are illegal.

    This one looks O.K. to me, but I'd ask for a shot of the jack plate w/serial numbers before bidding.
    I think the main problem is whoever wrote the discription!
  8. From what I can see, it looks good to me too. Trouble is, we can't see much.

    It would definitely be worth contacting the seller and asking for some additional information, and hopefully, a few more pictures - particularly the jackplate.
