No longer available Rickenbacker 4003, 2013, Fireglo, OHSC, Upgrades

Up for sale is my lovely Rickenbacker 4003. Really nice dark Fireglo. Bass plays really, really well and just sounds exactly like you want a Rick to sound like. Very resonant body. Bass weighs around 9.2 lbs. Very comfy.

A couple of important modifications:

• RWRP pickup mod. When both pickups 100% bass is hum cancelling and quiet. (bridge pickup removed, magnet flipped and rewired. This keeps the pickup single coil and doesn't change the tone but makes the bass quiet)
• Control cavity completely shielded. Helps with any extra noise
• Hipshot aluminum bass bridge. This bridge allows for easy adjustment and palm muting (really big deal for me)
• Treble bezel installed, pickup cover removed (gives a great place to anchor your thumb and covers the pickup route)
• Not Pictured Includes an unused Zero Mod white thumb Rest.

Bass in generally very good condition. Few minor dings (pictured below) and some finish chipped around the neck binding. Truss rods work perfectly and neck is very solid.The Included hard shell case has some signs of wear but is 100% functional with no cracks or major issues.
