Very nice! I'm a sucker for Ric style builds. We must be distant cousins! I've done one 4003 and one hybrid 4004 builds, a lot of struggle and fun.

I'm highly opinionated and extremely self-assured
Très bon et très beau @Rick Man ! I love your attitude - "just do it" - great advice to anyone!

It's all in the Head isn't it? You can build anything with even minimal tools and a lot of determination. I miss building, been doing house renovations and other drudgery for months. I don't NEED another bass, but I NEED to build one anyway.

I don't have a full woodshop … So the body was made by an un-named friend, The neck from ebay, and other parts from ebay. I put it together and set it up. I tried 2 different necks, and different pickups, and different electronics.

Maybe you weren't a luthier when you started, but I'd say you qualify as one now. Beautiful work!
