I upgraded my 4004cii looks ...
Thanks ... I enjoy playing it more now ...
Looks great! I very briefly owned a red 4004 and didn't like it at all - it just didn't feel right in my hands - despite this I still weirdly regret selling it as they are so rare over here. Still, I traded it for a smashing 4003 so all's good.
that's pretty sweet,Jeff! I've wondered what triangle inlays might look like without the neck binding, and i like it! ps,is that modified hb1 in the neck position?
Are those stickers?
i was wondering about that too,A-step!
That is damn sexy!
I hope they are stickers since a few are off center between the frets......looks nice though! I'm contemplating having the inlays done on my Blackened 4004 Laredo when it goes under the knife in a few months as well.
That is a modified high gain in the neck position, and a Sergio high gain in the bridge position. I like the 4004 with single coil pickups and stacked pots.
Do you have contact info for this guy that you could send me in a PM, please?
Looks great Jeff, I often wondered how a 4004 would look with 4003 inlays.
It looks better than I expected.
I think I will also do this one with black inlays.
It gets tricky to cover both dots on the 12th fret and try and center the sticker. But the nice thing is Rickenbacker uses small dots on the 4004 basses.
I had to ask if they were stickers because with you i wouldnt be suprised if they were real
Holy crap, that is a great look! I know some people like the dots on this model, but I've always been a sucker for the triangles.
Wow makes all the difference.
How come they haven,t thought of this at camp ricky.
I,m afraid dots don,t do it for me on a Rick.
Transparent black ,maple neck and inlays-nice
May I be the first to file my photo request...?
