  1. First things first.... the beginning of earrings for my wife.

    Decided to go with wood binding. This also helps take care of the router blunder.

  3. Actually it's a little more selfish than that. I will be practicing my inlay technique. Very thin pocket for abalone of her initials with gold leaf outline. 15" radius and epoxy or CA coating as will be used on fret board.

  8. I didn't catch that info about bridge placement before, good stuff! I have two basses that have at least one saddle maxed out due to bad placement. I have learned that the scale length is the absolute shortest a string will need to be and now position my bridges that way.
