SOLD Rickenbacker Shadow Bass 1 of 50!!

    Many of you know my consistency in the Rick world (having 111 Ricks does that to a person!!) What I have here is an amazing bass that you will not find anytime soon in this condition.
    Rick made 50 shadows in 1986 as a special run for GC, one for each of the stores. This one somehow escaped being played and was left in the case without much use since 1986. On the 10 point scale this bass is 9.8 and is original everything.

    I will have pics coming shortly and I will say now that I am looking for one of two things.

    First, the price of the bass is $3000.00 plus ship.
    Second, if you have a Wal bass, I am all ears.

    For those of you who know what this bass is, you will be amazed like I was by its condition. I am of the opinion that a bass I do not play does not need to stay here...Couple that with the basses I am currently using and the Rick sits in the case untouched as it has pretty much since 1986....

    This is collector grade and even I have not seen one this clean (other than this one).....

    Picture's gonna be a Shadow Bass with nylon tapewound strings being played by a black bear with a black pick in the black forest at midnight. Playing black metal. Black metal bear!!! :bassist:

    I don't have $3000. I jus wanna see the bass. :crying:

    Only the shadow knows.... wow that was lame lol Patience people I'm sure he has it looking forward to the photos. I didn't know they only made the shadows for Guitar Centers. Didn't realize GC's were around in 86. Now if you had a silver ric with black trim (I foolishly traded away mine). You should open a Rickenbacker museum with 111 rics! I have to say I think 3000 is a good fair price for a shadow but what the hell do I know? opps sorry just reread that you HAD 111 rics lol

    I used to have a silver one. It was nice but I ended up trading it for something else...pics will be up either tonight or tomorrow..

    And for some reason I was expecting a Tuxedo, even though you said Shadow. DUH.
