Rickenbacker v63 not available?

    Is it discontinued?
    Isn´t there any other Rick with the horseshue as a stock pickup?
    Also, I have read somewhere that the v63 has a normal 34" scalelength instead of the 33 1/4" (or something). Is this true?
    Does anyone have any good/bad to tell about this bass?

    The 4001v63 was replaced by the 4001c64. It has the horseshoe pickup. See more details at http://www.rickenbacker.com/us/vintage.htm.

    ALL Rick basses use the 33-1/4" scale.
