Rickenbackordered 4003

    At my local music shop, a rickenbacker will take a year to come in. They sell them for $1675 CAD. I was thinking about taking all the cash i saved up, plus christmas cash and putting a down payment on it, then doing a payment plan.

    Is this a good idea or have I completely lost it??? :help:

    I'd save your money and look for a used one.

    By the time you have finished paying the "year from now" one off, you may have changed your mind and want something else besides a Ric. If you get a used Ric and don't like it after a while OTOH, you can always sell it and not lose a dime.
