This must be too good to be true:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&Item=320357563249

$9 for a brand new MXR Carbon Copy! I emailed him and he said it would be $15 for shipping to the UK. Now I know this price is ridiculous, but if I buy it shouldn't it all be legally binding and I'll be covered by Paypal buyer protection if it turns out not to be legit or he put the wrong price up or whatever? :p

Hmm.... I don't see that, probably because I'm in the UK. It just says 'Shipping: To United Kingdom -- Not specified'. So I emailed him through eBay and he quoted me $15...

  4. Lol 120.00 for shipping.

I will punch this guy in the face.

I messaged him asking him if he was trying to scam people.

It's still the cheapest price on the bay though even though he's using the ol' snare-em-in-with-the-cheap-price-and-rape-them-with-the-shipping-charges trick! He has some good feedback and nobody else is doing them as low as $127 delivered.

The only people he's trying to scam are Ebay. A seller doesn't have to pay fees on the shipping cost, only the actual bid amount. What he's too dumb to realize is Ebay caught on to that scam years ago, and have put policies in place expressly forbidding that.

Well I've bitten the bullet and ordered it - $135 delivered to the UK = about £94. :ninja:

I've tried to order one from 2 UK shops lately (for around £128) who both really pissed me off as they didn't actually have it in stock, which I only managed to find out AFTER I placed the order, waited a few days then chased them up and subsequently cancelled the order. That would be iMuso and Soundslive! :spit:

people just do that because they pay a percentage of the item price and not the shipping price to ebay.
