Right when I think I'm getting good...

    I've been gigging quite a bit more than normal lately, and receiving requests for session work. I know I can play pretty good when I have time to prepare, but at the end of the day, deep down, I know I'm not much more than a noodling hack.

    Every once in a great while, I feel like I'm dialed in, but then I hear things like this...

    Well look at the bright side...one of you is still alive.

    If you get gigs and sessions, there must be a reason for it. Just do what you do and the universe unfolds as it should.

    If it makes you feel any better I can bet almost none of us can sound/play like that. Everybody except Pino & JPJ sucks compared to that.
