I wanted to leave a buyer beware about the above ebay seller. He sold me an Aria Pro bass which has a malfunctioning pickup and switch, neither of which was never mentioned in his item description. Because the PU's are sealed in epoxy, the pickup short cannot be fixed.

I contaced the seller for a refund, and he was adamant that he would not refund me. Because I got nervouse by his responses, I decided to file a claim with Paypal for my protection. They are now investigating the matter.

This seller then contact me, got very hostile and basically said, "I was thinking about replaing the pickup, but now we'll just have to duke it out."

He then proceeded to post false negative feedback stating that I took a refund and kept the bass and has told his powerseller manager that I filed a false Paypal claim.

I looked at his feedback and it seems this seller has a history of selling items that he does not properly or adequately describe. Now I am sick to my stomach and have to wait 45 days for PayPal to settle this. And while I am writing emails to this guy saying "All I want to do is return the bass or swap pickups", he is out there slandering me and claiming I got a refund and am trying to get a free bass.

This is a sad reminder of what can happen on ebay. Beware!
