    rio grande pitbulls..
Is there anybody here who has them installed?
What do they sound like? soundclips would be VERY welcome!
I'm also curious what they look like when they are installed on a bass...

Fellas help me out, there aren't much info on theese pups..
Pics of installed pups and soundclips are what I'm looking for..
    I'm thinking of installing 2 pitbulls instead of jbass-pups on a jbass..similar to a vintage t-bird..

User Benjamin Strange had them put into his Steinbergers. They replaced EMGs, and he posted soundclips, though I believe they're down now... Compared to the EMGs, they were deeper, had a definite growl to them, and were pretty clear sounding, without being clangy.

I have the muy grande in my jbass. lots of growl and great tone. Sonically, somewhere between a bartolini and EMG. clear with bottom. VERY WARM sounding. I didn't find much information on any of their pickups. Don't these pickups use the same alnico magnets? Makes it very balanced and round.
